MyAmsterdam

At Amsterdam in June 2019
I was with members of my family at Amsterdam from Monday to Sunday. Weather was quite cool and cloudy and it rained, too.
In Monday we stayed at a hotel near by city. Every day we drove by train to centrum. It took 20 min per one way. It was interesting to look around and observe architectural views. The houses seemed to be new and high. Only once somewhere a buildmachine crushed a old flathouse. Our hotel room was modern and bequem and breakfasts good.
In Wednesday we were at Rijksmuseum. We visited rooms and gardens and wondered many kind of paintings and things. I looked specially for "Milkmaid" by Vermeer and found it. It seemed small and was behind glass. Therefore it seemed like it missed something important. I liked more "Muenster Treaty" by van der Haalst.
In Friday we went to Artis Zoo. There you can see a wide variety of animals from around the world like elephants, giraffs, gorillas or lions. The Zoo is old: therefore it seems that many animals have not so much space around them like they need. And therefore you could get any depressive feelings.
After Zoo we went centrum and walked again around city and looked at shops. Endly we found an Italy restaurant, where we sat and took dinner.
In Saturday we had free time. Then we walked around and looked at shopwindows. And in Sunday morning early we flied back to Helsinki.
